This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as the main liaison for SCCAF coordination between the client, general contractor, electrical contractor, and the Olsson engineering team.
β’ Oversee the SCCAF process from the project initiation to the completion of reports and labels, ensuring alignment with construction milestones and project priorities.
β’ Create and maintain a comprehensive SCCAF schedule as project details, equipment data, and construction activities progress.
β’ Manage the coordination of SCCAF information and deliverables, which includes requests for information, submittals, equipment data, settings, labels, study revisions, and final reports.
β’ Monitor required inputs and proactively address missing information, field discrepancies, late design changes, and other factors impacting progress.
β’ Organize, lead, and document SCCAF coordination meetings, ensuring clear action items, responsibilities, and follow-ups are established.
β’ Collaborate with technical teams to ensure SCCAF deliverables align with approved construction documents.
β’ Recognize schedule, coordination, and project delivery risks, and devise practical solutions with stakeholders.
β’ Assist with deliverable tracking, document management, invoicing coordination, project reporting, and adherence to Olsson quality processes.
β’ A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is highly preferred; alternatively, an associate degree with relevant experience is required.
β’ Minimum of 4 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, demonstrating increasing project responsibilities.
β’ At least 2 years of experience in project management, project coordination, or related leadership roles, which may overlap with overall project experience.
β’ Familiarity with electrical engineering and design terminology is essential.
β’ Experience in supporting short circuit, coordination, arc flash, power studies, or electrical work during the construction phase is advantageous.
β’ Understanding of project schedules, contracts, project financials, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination is required.
β’ Strong skills in communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving are crucial.
β’ Ability to cultivate effective relationships, establish accountability, and coordinate information among clients, contractors, and technical teams.
