Power Platform/Dynamics 365 Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Convert client needs into application functionalities.

• Work alongside IT specialists to establish specifications for new software.

• Create prototypes that align with established specifications.

• Develop high-quality source code for comprehensive applications while adhering to deadlines.

• Conduct unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing.

• Diagnose and resolve application issues.

• Assess, update, and improve current applications.

• Produce technical documents, user manuals, system specifications, support documentation, and knowledge-transfer resources.

• Architect end-to-end systems and integrations.

• Ensure compliance with governance standards.

• Create and automate reporting tools and dashboards.

• Focus on data security and application protection in designs.

• Build secure and compliant workflow cases utilizing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.

• Assist in application deployment, user acceptance testing, production stabilization, performance tuning, monitoring, and operational support.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, architects, security teams, and project managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service.

• At least 2 years of experience with Power Platform.

• Proven experience in Dataverse architecture.

• Practical experience with model-driven applications.

• Excellent communication abilities.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience (preferred).

• Prior knowledge or experience in case management within DHHS, hospital, or healthcare systems (preferred).

• Experience in developing applications for Health and Human Services, behavioral health, healthcare, or case management (preferred).

• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Power Platform, and Dynamics 365 (preferred).

• Experience in implementing HIPAA-compliant solutions (preferred).

• Proficient in designing reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI or similar platforms (preferred).

• Experience with document management and records retention systems (preferred).

• Proven ability to implement SSO, MFA, RBAC, and audit logging in regulated settings (preferred).

• Experience in data migration from legacy systems (preferred).

• Background in supporting technology projects within government or public sectors (preferred).

• Understanding of SDLC methodologies.

• Familiarity with case management and electronic record systems.

• Knowledge of relational database design, data modeling, normalization, and reporting architectures.

• Awareness of business process automation and workflow-driven application design.

• Knowledge of application security, identity management, RBAC, and least-privilege access principles.

• Understanding of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

• Knowledge of 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality requirements.

• Familiarity with audit logging, records retention, legal hold requirements, and compliance reporting.

• Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG standards.

• Awareness of secure document management, electronic forms, repositories, and records management.

• Understanding of SSO and MFA authentication technologies.

• Knowledge of reporting, dashboarding, analytics, KPI development, and operational performance measurement.

• Familiarity with data migration strategies and legacy system modernization.

• Understanding of application integration patterns, APIs, data exchange mechanisms, and secure export processes.

• Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks, backlog management, and iterative solution development.

• Must reside within the EST or CST time zones.

• Must not require C2C.
