This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.
• Serve as the architecture lead for specific initiatives within the client's Power Platform ecosystem.
• Convert business capabilities, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements into practical end-to-end solution architectures.
• Design comprehensive architectures that encompass Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Azure services, and external integrations.
• Establish solution boundaries, data models, integration patterns, security concepts, environment strategies, and deployment methods.
• Assess and guide decisions between configuration, low-code, and custom development methodologies.
• Evaluate the suitable application of React, PCF, Azure Functions, and other Azure components.
• Ensure solutions are in alignment with enterprise architecture, identity and access management, data protection, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), security, and operational support requirements.
• Define and uphold environment strategies across development, testing, staging, and production phases.
• Lead architecture reviews and document architectural decisions, assumptions, risks, dependencies, and exceptions.
• Assist in solution estimation, backlog refinement, technical planning, and delivery planning in collaboration with product owners and engineering teams.
• Offer technical guidance to developers and review solution designs, technical approaches, integration patterns, and deployment strategies.
• Mentor delivery teams and promote consistent architectural and engineering practices.
• Provide technical leadership during critical releases, production stabilization, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks prior to impacting delivery or production.
• Balance governance and architectural standards with practical delivery requirements, avoiding unnecessary complexity.
• Over 8 years of experience in solution architecture, solution design, or software engineering, including significant hands-on experience in designing enterprise Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering production solutions across multiple applications, environments, systems, and integration endpoints.
• In-depth expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform architecture.
• Strong comprehension of Dataverse data modeling, relationships, security roles, permissions, identity, and enterprise data architecture.
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, connectors, and enterprise application integration.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and designing solutions that integrate Power Platform with Azure services.
• Hands-on experience with managed solutions, environment strategies, source control, Azure DevOps, and structured ALM practices.
• Thorough understanding of CI/CD and deployment strategies for enterprise Power Platform solutions.
• Ability to define and evaluate non-functional requirements related to security, performance, scalability, availability, reliability, supportability, maintainability, and compliance.
• Strong grasp of Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise identity and access management concepts.
• Experience in defining security architecture and data protection strategies for enterprise applications.
• Experience in determining when to utilize configuration, low-code, custom development, or external services.
• Practical knowledge of React, PCF controls, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and/or event-driven integration is a plus.
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, and the architecture or governance of AI-enabled business solutions is advantageous.
• Experience with Power Pages and external-facing Power Platform solutions is a plus.
• Experience supporting distributed, remote, or nearshore development teams is an added advantage.
• Microsoft Power Platform or Azure architecture certification, particularly PL-600, is a plus.
• Proven ability to facilitate architectural decisions with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Extensive experience producing clear, structured, and traceable architecture documentation and technical decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused approach.
• Ability to provide hands-on technical guidance and validate key architectural choices.
• Professional English communication skills, encompassing strong written and verbal communication in an international engineering context.
