Power Platform Consultant – UiPath Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, configure, and test automation solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Automate Desktop and Power Automate Cloud Flows.

• Assess existing UiPath processes and convert business and automation logic into Microsoft Power Automate solutions.

• Revamp UiPath workflows, which include sequences, selectors/UI elements, variables, data manipulation, exception handling, logging, and business rules.

• Create attended and unattended desktop automations using Power Automate Desktop.

• Integrate Power Automate solutions with Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications.

• Review process documentation and use cases provided by customers, translating them into technical solution designs.

• Develop solution designs along with supporting technical documentation.

• Conduct unit testing and verify migrated automations for functional consistency.

• Diagnose automation issues and establish exception handling, monitoring, and logging processes.

• Engage in customer discussions, solution walkthroughs, demonstrations, and technical reviews.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs, architects, and project team members throughout the implementation phase.

• Assist in UAT, deployment, and knowledge transfer activities.

• Operate independently as a hands-on technical resource while cooperating with CompQsoft Digital and customer stakeholders.

• Take ownership of assigned automation use cases from design to technical completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate.

• Proficiency in Power Automate Desktop (PAD) and Power Automate Cloud Flows.

• Background in desktop/UI automation, workflow design and orchestration, exception handling and logging, unit testing, and troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Experience in designing and delivering enterprise automation/RPA solutions.

• Capability to manage an automation use case from requirements and solution design through development, unit testing, and demonstration independently.

• Familiarity with integrating automation solutions with web applications, desktop applications, Excel, Outlook/email, PDFs, SharePoint, APIs, and other enterprise systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to comprehend existing automation logic and redesign it for the Microsoft Power Platform.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfort in working directly with customers and business stakeholders.

• Hands-on experience in migrating UiPath automations to Microsoft Power Automate Desktop (preferred).

• Working knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, queues, selectors, sequences, and workflow architecture (preferred).

• Familiarity with Blueprint or similar RPA migration/assessment tools (desirable).

• Experience in developing and deploying attended and unattended RPA solutions (preferred).

• Proficiency with Power Apps, Dataverse, AI Builder, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365 integrations (preferred).

• Experience in creating Process Design Documents (PDDs), Solution Design Documents (SDDs), test cases, and other automation documentation (preferred).

• Previous experience delivering automation solutions within Financial Services or another regulated industry (preferred).

• Microsoft Power Platform and/or UiPath certifications are a plus.
