This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +1 more country.
• Create and develop systems for fuel cell and electrolyser stacks along with their corresponding electrical architectures.
• Design electrical networks for fuel cell and electrolysis systems that are connected to the grid, covering both AC and DC distribution networks.
• Conduct electrical modeling, power analysis, and technical feasibility studies.
• Generate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and comprehensive technical design documentation.
• Examine and authorize electrical designs and installation tasks performed by contractors and suppliers.
• Offer technical support to project teams regarding electrical design risks and integration challenges.
• Ensure adherence to IEEE, ANSI, IEC, NFPA, and other pertinent electrical standards.
• Create and assess interface requirements for system integration and external connections.
• Assist in the installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Systems Engineering team on clean energy and hydrogen technology initiatives.
• Senior experience level: 5–15 years of relevant experience.
• Extensive background in electrical design and power electronic systems.
• Proven experience in delivering grid connection solutions for power generation or industrial power systems.
• Hands-on experience with AC and DC electrical distribution systems.
• Proficient knowledge in cable sizing, protection device selection, earthing/grounding design, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience with interfacing electrical systems to PLCs, microcontrollers, power converters, and protection systems.
• Familiarity with national and international electrical standards and grid connection criteria.
• Required experience with ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB, or similar analysis and design tools.
• Capability to review electrical drawings, schematics, loads, BoMs, and design documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Experience in complex electrical system design projects.
• Strong grasp of electrical power systems, network design, and integration processes.
• Experience supporting projects during the design, implementation, and commissioning stages.
• Preferable experience in fuel cell, electrolysis, hydrogen, renewable energy, or power generation sectors.
• Desirable experience with MW-scale power systems.
• Knowledge of power system modeling and simulation techniques.
• Experience in supporting research and development or prototype technology programs.
• Fluency in Korean, Mandarin, Chinese, or German is a plus.
• Ability to acquire or fulfill required security clearance/Baseline Personnel Security Standard.
