Power BI Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the deployment and integration of Power BI throughout the organization, ensuring it meets business requirements.

• Create, develop, and manage dashboards that offer real-time insights into key business performance indicators such as MRR, churn, CAC, and overall operational efficiency.

• Integrate Power BI with Salesforce, ERP systems, SQL databases, and subscription management platforms.

• Construct scalable data models utilizing DAX and Power Query to facilitate high-performance reporting and forecasting.

• Provide customized training and support to business users, fostering self-service analytics and enhancing data literacy.

• Collaborate with FP&A, Revenue Operations, IT, and Product teams to gather requirements and deliver analytical solutions.

• Establish and enforce data governance best practices that prioritize security, compliance, and data integrity.

• Oversee Power BI projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, stakeholder communication, and final delivery.

• Enhance dashboards for efficiency and reliability while troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.

• Keep abreast of the latest Power BI features and propose innovative enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with Power BI in a software or subscription-based business environment.

• Proven experience in developing SaaS metrics dashboards is essential.

• Direct experience with SALESFORCE (or other contemporary CRM systems) is critical from both data and sales cycle perspectives.

• Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, Power Query), dataflows, and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, SQL Server, and ERP systems is required.

• Comprehensive understanding of recurring revenue, churn, retention, and other key SaaS metrics.

• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate stakeholders across both technical and non-technical areas.

• Excellent communication skills, with experience in mentoring or empowering others.

• Capability to convert business inquiries into quantifiable metrics, datasets, and dashboards.

• Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and best practices for BI deployment.

• A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience is preferred.

• Power BI certification, Agile project experience, or familiarity with Python, R, or Tableau is advantageous.

• A natural curiosity and a growth-oriented mindset are essential.
