Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive Power BI dashboards directly from backend data tables utilizing Query Mode (DirectQuery/Power Query).

• Create effective data models employing star schema and manage relationships, refresh processes, and performance optimization.

• Publish and oversee reports in Power BI Service, which includes workspaces, access control, and refresh schedules.

• Construct DAX measures for key performance indicators (KPIs), time intelligence (Year-over-Year, trends, rolling metrics), and business logic.

• Validate data, uncover insights, and ensure the accuracy of metrics.

• Enhance DAX and visuals for superior performance.

• Quickly grasp the nuances of various businesses and their performance indicators.

• Convert business requirements into user-friendly dashboards and actionable insights.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess reporting and analytical needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

• Proficient in Power BI development with a track record of creating end-to-end dashboards from backend data tables.

• Familiarity with Query Mode, including both DirectQuery and Power Query.

• Strong grasp of data modeling concepts, including star schema, relationships, refresh strategies, and performance metrics.

• Experience in publishing and managing reports within Power BI Service, encompassing workspaces, access management, and refresh processes.

• Advanced DAX skills, covering KPI development, time intelligence, trend analysis, rolling metrics, and business logic creation.

• Robust analytical skills with a capability to validate data, extract insights, and ensure metric precision.

• Competence in optimizing DAX and Power BI visuals for enhanced performance.

• Ability to swiftly comprehend various businesses and their performance metrics.

• Quick learner with strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills with stakeholders.
