POSM Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create innovative, professional, and visually striking concepts for POSM displays, exhibition booths, customized plaques, awards, signage, retail displays, promotional stands, and various branding or fabrication-related products.

• Convert basic instructions, reference images, sketches, or written specifications into comprehensive design concepts.

• Propose practical design alternatives and enhancements while ensuring alignment with approved concepts and project requirements.

• Generate realistic, high-quality 3D models and photorealistic renderings.

• Accurately depict real-world dimensions, proportions, scale, material thicknesses, textures, finishes, and colors.

• Transform approximate size instructions into precise and realistic 3D models.

• Ensure that designs are technically practical, structurally sound, and fit for manufacturing, fabrication, installation, or assembly.

• Utilize knowledge of materials, thicknesses, fabrication limitations, layering, combining, and assembly.

• Maintain realistic material representation in 3D renderings.

• Deliver accurate, error-free designs and confirm dimensions, proportions, specifications, alignment, spacing, and instructions.

• Adhere to approved concepts, specifications, materials, dimensions, and project guidelines.

• Review designs prior to submission to reduce errors, rework, and production delays.

• Integrate internal feedback, client comments, and additional design instructions.

• Create alternative concepts, design options, or variations as needed.

• Manage multiple assignments, revisions, and shifting requirements simultaneously.

• Submit finalized designs, updated renderings, and revisions within agreed timelines.

• Keep organized design files, project assets, and relevant documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in POSM design, 3D product visualization, exhibition design, retail displays, or a related field.

• Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and a working knowledge of at least one professional 3D design and rendering software.

• Strong grasp of real-world dimensions, proportions, material thicknesses, scale, and manufacturing feasibility.

• Practical knowledge of materials including acrylic, MDF, melamine, stainless steel, wood, aluminum, and other fabrication materials.

• Familiarity with fabrication and manufacturing processes, such as CNC routing, laser cutting, UV printing, engraving, material layering, and product assembly.

• Capability to independently develop creative concepts and realistic, manufacturable 3D designs from basic instructions or reference images.

• Keen attention to detail, ensuring accurate dimensions, proportions, material specifications, and design instructions.

• Ability to generate high-quality, realistic 3D renderings and presentation-ready visualizations.

• Comfortable handling multiple assignments, tight deadlines, design revisions, and evolving project requirements.

• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Professional demeanor in response to constructive feedback, revisions, and collaboration.

• Willingness to occasionally support urgent projects outside regular working hours, with reasonable coordination.

• Preferred: experience in 3D product visualization and photorealistic rendering.

• Preferred: experience with customized corporate awards, trophies, plaques, and recognition products.

• Preferred: experience with exhibition booths, promotional displays, POSM, retail displays, and signage design.

• Preferred: experience with acrylic, stainless steel, wood, MDF, melamine, and other fabrication materials.

• Preferred: experience with CNC routing, laser cutting, UV printing, engraving, and product assembly.

• Preferred: ability to develop appealing designs that are realistically manufacturable rather than solely conceptual.
