Portfolio Reporting & Analytics Analyst – EPMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Designing, maintaining, and improving enterprise portfolio reporting, analytics, dashboards, and high-level communications.

• Offering insights into portfolio performance, project wellness, progress on strategic initiatives, resource utilization, and organizational priorities.

• Creating and managing Smartsheet reports and dashboards, Power BI reporting solutions, portfolio KPIs, governance reports, and executive report-outs.

• Detecting portfolio trends, risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities while providing actionable recommendations to EPMO leadership.

• Generating and disseminating weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio reports for leadership and governance committees.

• Assisting executive governance meetings by preparing presentation materials, scorecards, dashboards, and supporting analytics.

• Establishing and maintaining portfolio health metrics, project performance indicators, and organizational performance reporting.

• Developing and sustaining Power BI datasets, dashboards, data models, calculated measures, and visualizations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required; preferred fields include business analytics, information systems, data analytics, finance, business administration, or a related area.

• 3-7 years of experience in portfolio reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, PMO operations, or similar disciplines.

• Proven experience in developing Power BI dashboards and executive reporting solutions is essential.

• Experience within a Project Management Office (PMO), Enterprise PMO (EPMO), Portfolio Management, or Program Management setting is preferred.

• Strong preference for experience in administering and reporting using the Smartsheet platform.

• Experience with portfolio management, project management, governance reporting, and KPI development is preferred.

• Background in supporting executive leadership reporting and strategic decision-making is preferred.

• Healthcare IT experience is strongly preferred.

• Microsoft Power BI certification is preferred but not mandatory.

• PMP, CAPM, PMI-PBA, or similar certification is a plus, though not required.

• Advanced understanding of portfolio reporting, business intelligence, and data analytics principles.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, Power Query, and DAX.

• Significant experience with Smartsheet reporting, dashboards, and portfolio management solutions.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.
