Data Analytics Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Lead a small group of analysts integrated within product squads.

• Act as the hands-on analyst for Monetization initiatives.

• Manage tracking for new features, conversion funnel experiments, and squad performance reporting.

• Set a benchmark for analytical problem-solving and technical execution.

• Establish and uphold data quality testing across data ingestion, transformation, reporting, and anomaly detection processes.

• Shift data quality accountability upstream to the teams generating the data.

• Oversee the transition from raw event data to well-organized datasets in the self-service business intelligence tool.

• Formulate the strategy for how product and engineering managers leverage data in their decision-making processes.

• Assist the Monetization team in enhancing conversion rates and revenue generation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an analyst within a mobile product squad, including skills in event tracking, funnel analysis, user journey analysis, experimentation, release cycles, and managing legacy app versions.

• Experience in managing analysts while maintaining a hands-on approach.

• Strong background in experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing, bandit algorithms, quasi-experiments, and both Bayesian and frequentist techniques.

• Experience in establishing a data quality framework and resolving data discrepancies.

• Proficient in SQL and experienced with Python.

• Familiarity with dbt for data transformation tasks.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses, dbt, and experimentation platforms.

• CV in English is mandatory; English is the official language of the company.

• Bonus: experience in subscription-based businesses, including knowledge of App Store and Google Play gateway SDKs.

• Bonus: strong foundation in statistics.

• Bonus: experience with Dagster or Airflow.

• Bonus: familiarity with data catalogs such as DataHub.
