Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independently analyze open-ended product and commercial business inquiries.

• Examine account growth, retention, expansion, funnel performance, product usage, adoption, and engagement.

• Identify behaviors that predict long-term retention and expansion, and suggest actions for Sales and Customer Success.

• Map out customer workflows, feature adoption, and maintain healthy account usage.

• Conduct original analyses that impact product or go-to-market strategies.

• Develop dbt models and Looker views to facilitate analyses and self-service insights.

• Work closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and leadership teams.

• Clearly communicate findings and drive actions based on recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in analytics within fast-growing startups or scale-ups, preferably in B2B SaaS.

• Outstanding ability to navigate ambiguous business challenges and provide clear recommendations.

• Practical experience with both product analytics and commercial analytics.

• Proven ability to advance an analytical agenda with little supervision.

• Proficient in SQL and possess professional experience with dbt and a BI tool.

• Strong expertise in Looker is an advantage.

• Solid proficiency in Python for analysis and scripting.

• Strong hands-on experience with AI tools, particularly Claude Code.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Experience with marketplaces or two-sided platforms is a plus.

• Background in vertical SaaS, construction tech, or procurement is a bonus.

• Familiarity with BigQuery is an added advantage.
