Portfolio Manager, Servicing

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for a designated portfolio of servicing clients, investors, and business associates.

• Establish and nurture client relationships through proactive communication, operational assistance, and strategic collaboration.

• Direct servicing oversight activities, resolve issues, manage operational escalations, and handle client-specific projects.

• Collaborate with internal servicing teams to guarantee timely and accurate servicing responsibilities and portfolio deliverables.

• Propel operational enhancements, servicing strategies, and process efficiencies.

• Track portfolio performance metrics, servicing trends, and operational risk indicators.

• Organize client requests, servicing approvals, and operational deliverables.

• Lead servicing transfer processes, encompassing onboarding, offboarding, client communications, data validation, timeline management, operational readiness, and third-party coordination.

• Act as a liaison for servicing transfer initiatives, ensuring all operational, regulatory, investor, and client requirements are fulfilled.

• Manage data reconciliation, boarding coordination, exception management, and operational tracking.

• Assist in resolving servicing discrepancies, customer escalations, payment processing challenges, and portfolio exceptions.

• Reconcile servicing-related invoices, fees, reports, and exception items.

• Perform root cause analysis and facilitate corrective actions and process advancements.

• Review servicing agreements and operational requirements to identify risks, gaps, and implementation needs.

• Support the onboarding of new servicing clients and integration activities.

• Compile and present portfolio updates, operational findings, servicing metrics, and recommendations to leadership and clients.

• Organize and engage in client meetings, servicing transfer discussions, operational reviews, and onsite visits as necessary.

• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by leadership.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in loan servicing, client management, servicing operations, manufactured housing finance, or a related financial service.

• Previous experience in a client-facing servicing, portfolio oversight, or operational management position is strongly preferred.

• Experience in managing or coordinating servicing transfers is preferred.

• Background in manufactured housing, consumer finance, or specialty servicing is advantageous.

• Solid understanding of servicing operations, loan portfolios, payment processing, escrow administration, servicing transfers, and customer service workflows.

• Familiarity with regulatory servicing requirements and operational compliance standards.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

• Experience in leading cross-functional operational initiatives and enhancing processes.

• Proficient in leveraging Excel, business intelligence tools, AI-assisted technologies, and operational analytics.

• Strong presentation abilities and executive communication skills.

• Experience with servicing systems, operational reporting tools, or business intelligence platforms is a plus.

• Excellent attention to detail, accountability, and a sense of ownership.

• Must reside in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, or Wisconsin.
