This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of dealer clients in Northwestern Ohio and Detroit South, handling lines of credit from $50,000 to $2.5M.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients.
• Enhance portfolio performance by promoting effective use of lines of credit among clients.
• Recognize and address pre-default account risks.
• Assist in collections for accounts that are in default.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on floor plans for portfolio clients.
• Interact with clients both in-person and virtually to meet company objectives and boost profitability.
• Provide education and coaching to clients on performance behaviors, self-service options, best practices, policies, and expectations.
• Gather and evaluate client financial data, reports, and dashboards.
• Spot growth opportunities and identify clients facing financial challenges using historical data and analytical tools.
• Collaborate with Risk and Recovery teams regarding pre-default risk mitigation and post-default collections.
• Conduct inventory inspections to ensure quality control in audit, inventory, and repossession processes.
• Detect and report instances of policy violations, fraud, or other situations requiring company protection.
• Log conversations, activities, and client interactions in Salesforce, completing all required campaigns.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
• Foster cross-functional business relationships and opportunities within Cox Automotive.
• BA/BS degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, client-facing roles, B2B, account management, and/or collections; or an MS degree with 2+ years of experience; or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Understanding of the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with the finance industry.
• Preferred proficiency in analyzing financial documents, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and bank statements.
• Strong financial acumen with a working knowledge of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Capability to identify risk indicators through data analysis tools.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote work environment.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness and implement necessary safety measures.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce.
• Background in the automotive and/or floorplan industry is preferred.
• Financial expertise and acumen are preferred.
• Willingness to visit clients at least 60% of the time, including occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Must reside permanently within the designated territory, centered in Northwestern Ohio - Toledo.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
• No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT, or visa sponsorship available now or in the future.
