This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee and expand a portfolio of dealer clients within the Los Angeles West region, managing lines of credit between $50,000 and $2.5M.
• Establish and nurture client relationships.
• Serve as a floor plan subject matter expert to enhance clients’ utilization of their lines of credit.
• Interact with clients either in person or virtually to meet company objectives and performance metrics.
• Provide education and coaching to clients on performance practices, self-service options, best practices, policies, and expectations.
• Gather and analyze financial data, reports, and dashboards to assess dealer performance.
• Spot growth opportunities and identify clients facing financial challenges through historical data and company resources.
• Work in conjunction with Risk and Recovery teams on pre-default risk management and post-default collection strategies.
• Conduct physical inventory checks and ensure accuracy in audits, repossessions, and inventory records.
• Detect and report any instances of client or internal non-compliance, fraud, and other situations necessitating company protection.
• Record conversations, activities, and client interactions in Salesforce, completing necessary campaigns.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new clients to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Develop cross-functional business relationships and opportunities within Cox Automotive.
• Engage in additional projects and initiatives as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in finance, customer-facing roles, customer service, B2B, account management, and/or collections.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree combined with 2+ years of experience, or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Preferred background in the automotive and/or floorplan industry.
• Solid financial knowledge and acumen.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Salesforce.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry.
• Understanding of the finance industry.
• Preferred proficiency in reading and interpreting financial documents, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and bank statements.
• Strong financial acumen with an understanding of key financial tools and terminology.
• Capability to identify risk indicators using data analysis tools.
• Ability to communicate a proactive performance plan consistently at both individual and client levels.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to engage with clients and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a remote setting.
• Committed to maintaining high safety awareness and implementing necessary safety precautions.
• Willingness to visit clients at least 60% of the time, including potential overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.
