This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
β’ Oversee portfolio management activities that support manufacturing, operations, capacity expansion, new product introduction (NPI), and business growth initiatives.
β’ Assess and rank portfolios based on their strategic value, business goals, investment returns, resource availability, and operational readiness.
β’ Aggregate project and investment data into comprehensive portfolio reviews for leadership teams.
β’ Monitor portfolio performance, value realization, profitability, capacity expansion progress, and operational milestones.
β’ Collaborate with Business Unit leaders, Product Managers, Program Managers, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to synchronize priorities and execution plans.
β’ Identify risks, constraints, resource shortages, and interdependencies within the portfolio, and implement mitigation strategies with affected stakeholders.
β’ Convey portfolio health, priorities, decisions, and recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders from project teams to senior leadership.
β’ Work alongside global teams across North America, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, India, Mexico, and other significant manufacturing locations.
β’ Support factory digital transformation initiatives through reporting, analytics, visualization, and portfolio governance tools.
β’ Influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment without direct organizational authority.
β’ Create and present executive portfolio reviews, offering clear recommendations, risk assessments, and strategic updates to Directors, Vice Presidents, and other senior leadership stakeholders.
β’ Proven experience in leading portfolios, programs, projects, operational initiatives, or strategic business initiatives within a manufacturing setting.
β’ Ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams across various functions and organizational levels.
β’ Skilled in communicating complex business, operational, and project information to leadership audiences.
β’ Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
β’ Familiarity with project, portfolio, or business management tools and reporting systems.
β’ Proven track record of success in a high-growth, rapidly evolving environment that requires prioritization across multiple competing demands.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
β’ Experience in connectors, cable assemblies, electronics manufacturing, high-speed connectivity, or related sectors.
β’ Background in supporting NPI, new product development (NPD), capacity expansion, manufacturing operations, or capital investment portfolios.
β’ Experience in global manufacturing organizations.
β’ PMP or other project management certification is preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar tools.
β’ Fluency in Mandarin, Korean, or Spanish is a plus.
β’ Experience in facilitating executive-level portfolio reviews and investment decision-making processes.
