Portfolio Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Drive collaboration between business and technical teams while assisting in the creation of delivery plans.

• Aid in governance, coordination, and prioritization of change initiatives within a designated portfolio.

• Participate in strategic planning, investment prioritization, and decision-making at the portfolio level.

• Define objectives, scope, dependencies, costs, and implementation strategies in coordination with stakeholders.

• Implement Agile and Waterfall delivery principles that are in line with the change management process.

• Create portfolio reports and insights tailored for senior and executive stakeholders.

• Lead discussions focused on implementation solutions, risks, dependencies, and anticipated business outcomes.

• Analyze, review, and re-engineer workflows and processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and quality of delivery.

• Foster governance, accountability, collaboration, and a value-oriented approach across the portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking or financial services.

• At least 1 year of experience in portfolio management or 2 years in project management.

• Strong grasp of strategic planning, portfolio governance, prioritization, and reporting processes.

• Proficient understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.

• Experience collaborating with executive stakeholders and crafting clear, decision-centric materials.

• Practical experience or keen interest in process mapping, workflow analysis, and process reengineering.

• Capability to navigate ambiguity, organize complex subjects, and link business needs with delivery execution.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical thinking, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficient in advanced English.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Office.
