This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Enhance the company's risk management through proactive account oversight.
• Build and nurture customer connections with manufacturers, vendors, distributors, dealers, and end users.
• Ensure profitable expansion by managing a quality portfolio within Missouri and Northern Arkansas.
• Foster positive customer interactions through regular engagement and site visits.
• Oversee past due accounts and collaborate with collections staff to resolve issues.
• Safeguard company assets by initiating timely retail and wholesale collection efforts.
• Create and execute action plans to reduce delinquency and mitigate risk costs.
• Meet with clients to address overdue accounts.
• Prepare final notices and outline potential consequences.
• Establish payment plans for debtors.
• Continue collections in the context of litigation or bankruptcy cases.
• Facilitate or manage repossessions in accordance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Collaborate with dealers to formulate repayment terms for recourse obligations.
• Conduct or oversee field audits in line with company policy.
• Manage off-lot units.
• Collect proceeds from sold units.
• Engage in extensive travel throughout Missouri and Northern Arkansas.
• Must reside in Missouri or Arkansas for this role.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections management is essential.
• Knowledge of business economics, particularly concerning products, insolvency, and bankruptcy.
• Familiarity with the leasing and finance industry.
• Strong negotiation skills are necessary.
• Ability to operate and think within established procedures and precedents.
• Capability to lift 10lbs, sit and work at a computer for extended periods, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Preferred in-depth knowledge of various agricultural, construction, transportation, and industrial equipment.
• Must exhibit a high degree of attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and adherence to deadlines.
• A driving record suitable for operating a company vehicle is required.
• Ability to manage and organize multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Weekly regional travel is mandatory.
• Regional travel is required; international travel may also be necessary.
• Successful completion of a background check is required.
• Two working days per year dedicated to volunteering for a local charity.
