Polling Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate across various BlueLabs project teams to create effective polling solutions.

• Manage the complete polling procedure, which includes designing survey questionnaires, selecting samples, overseeing and monitoring surveys in the field, and analyzing the results.

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of client deliverables, including toplines and crosstabs.

• Work with team members on experiments, modeling, and other analytics surveys.

• Partner with the Data Science team to enhance polling methodologies and streamline operations and processes.

• Collaborate with the Director of Polling to propose and execute improvements in polling processes and keep abreast of new industry advancements.

• Help oversee essential vendor relationships, regularly engaging with and assessing vendors.

• Report directly to the Lead Polling Manager and maintain close collaboration with the Director of Polling.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree and several years of experience with survey data are likely required.

• Prior experience in the polling sector is a significant advantage.

• You possess the ability to distill complex requests into key insights and identify the most pertinent information amidst a wealth of data.

• Attention to detail is crucial, ensuring that every aspect of the process is executed correctly.

• Capable of performing data analysis under tight deadlines, even when faced with unstructured problems or open-ended guidance.

• Proficient in programming languages such as SQL, R, and/or Python.

• Comfortable manipulating data and working extensively with spreadsheets.

• Passionate about utilizing data-driven solutions to enhance social outcomes.
