Policy Processing Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately and efficiently process policy-related transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Review and validate policy applications, endorsements, and cancellations.

• Enter data into computer systems and issue policy documents for clients.

• Address inquiries from policyholders, agents, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Support underwriting activities, including evaluating risk factors and calculating premiums.

• Clear submissions for new business and complete underwriting applications.

• Bind and issue new and renewal commercial insurance policies.

• Manage endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and related notices.

• Resolve booking and accounting issues or discrepancies.

• Liaise with management, underwriters, and brokers to gather necessary information.

• Deliver service to both internal and external customers.

• Generate and distribute routine and ad-hoc reports.

• Engage in special projects.

• Collaborate across the organization to enhance process optimization and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Preferred BA/BS degree; a business or technology-related degree is advantageous.

• At least 1 year of experience in an office setting.

• Insurance experience is preferred.

• Familiarity with core business systems and applications is preferred.

• Required intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Excel and Word.

• Knowledge of SQL is a plus.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Capacity to maintain quality and quantity standards set by management.

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and continuously learn in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting.
