This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform impact assessments of archived and rescinded regulations and guidance, determining policy implications, risks, gaps, and the downstream effects on State Plans, programs, systems, and operations.

• Investigate historical policy and regulatory modifications and suggest mitigation strategies as necessary.

• Create concise summaries and briefing documents for the Commissioner and other stakeholders.

• Oversee and uphold the OCSE document archive for accuracy, traceability, and adherence to HHS/ACF standards.

• Evaluate, analyze, and assist in the implementation and upkeep of the OCSE website’s Policy section.

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor documentation, reports, and records associated with regulatory updates, archival activities, and website modifications.

• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives for policy management, document control, records retention, and content governance.

• Offer research, drafting, and communication assistance on policy and regulatory matters as required.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting Child Support agencies.

• At least 5 years of experience in Child Support Policy Analysis.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

• In-depth knowledge of federal child support laws, regulations, and policies, including State Plan requirements.

• Practical experience with child support programs at either the state or local level.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the development of policy documents.

• Ability to convey complex historical research and the implications of new policy concepts in an accessible manner.

• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic federal environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the skill to assess complex program and operational challenges.

• Experience in coordinating and communicating across various organizations, stakeholders, and program areas.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools.
