This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee developments in federal, state, and international legislation and regulations pertinent to ZoomInfo, with a focus on ad tech, privacy, AI, and data brokerage.

• Assess policy proposals related to first- and third-party advertising, cookies, pixels, SDKs, tracking technologies, and targeted/behavioral advertising.

• Analyze proposed bills for their chances of passage and the potential operational and strategic effects on ZoomInfo and its clientele.

• Create concise, regular status updates on significant legislation for senior management and industry coalitions.

• Compose outreach communications for advocacy and rulemaking, including memos, talk tracks, policy briefs, and presentation materials.

• Represent ZoomInfo in discussions with partner organizations and industry working groups.

• Collaborate with internal leadership and external coalitions to evaluate legislative proposals and influence public policy positions.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Computer Science/Information Policy, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in a legislative, regulatory, or public policy capacity.

• Proven understanding of federal and state legislative processes.

• Strong foundational knowledge of digital advertising mechanics, including cookies, pixels, SDKs, cross-context behavioral advertising, and the distinctions between first- and third-party data flows.

• Excellent analytical skills.

• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities, navigate competing deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion.

• Experience in technology, privacy, or digital advertising policy is highly preferred.
