This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
β’ Oversee and implement the company's most vital projects, guaranteeing timely delivery, adherence to budget, and alignment with company standards.
β’ Direct strategic initiatives, commercialization efforts, Capex projects, and initiatives across various manufacturing locations.
β’ Aid in process enhancement, change management, and system integrations.
β’ Manage projects from the planning phase through execution and final transition to the process or functional owner.
β’ Collaborate with business leaders to outline project scope, minimum viable product, timelines, budgets, and risk management strategies.
β’ Supervise project teams, stakeholders, resource availability, and distribution.
β’ Offer mentorship and training to project leads outside the PMO.
β’ Assess project performance utilizing suitable tools and methodologies.
β’ Create project documentation and progress updates for stakeholders and senior management.
β’ Set project standards and methodologies consistent with PMO protocols.
β’ Report and elevate issues to management in accordance with PMO escalation procedures.
β’ Formulate comprehensive project plans to track and monitor team progress.
β’ Prepare materials for and lead senior leadership project reviews, up to the CEO level.
β’ Provide insights and suggestions on complex projects and processes.
β’ Facilitate kaizen events and create process maps, value stream maps, RACIs, risk mitigation strategies, and communication plans.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 20%.
β’ A bachelor's degree is preferred; if not, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is mandatory.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment is highly desirable.
β’ Experience in managing comprehensive business processes within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
β’ PMP certification or MBA is preferred.
β’ Additional experience in process engineering, commercialization, innovation, product life cycle management (PLM), or technical project management is an advantage.
β’ Extensive experience in strategic planning and business transformation is highly preferred.
β’ Strong expertise in project management methodologies and software is required.
β’ Proven experience in project management within the consumer products and food sectors is preferred.
β’ Solid technical foundation with knowledge and/or hands-on experience in launching new and existing products, capital projects, process improvement initiatives, and operational IT projects.
β’ Demonstrated capability to independently create project plans, define workstreams and milestones, manage dependencies, and execute projects with minimal supervision.
β’ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Familiarity with project management software, methodologies, and tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent).
β’ Expertise in Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) or Activity Management systems is preferred.
β’ Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
β’ Solid business and financial understanding, with a strong grasp of operational cost factors/analysis, including ROI, IRR, and ROTA.
