This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee project management, customer interactions, and implementations throughout the duration of the contract.
• Provide governance for solution architecture and manage the Request for Solution (RFS) process.
• Spearhead the design and execution of service evolution.
• Manage contract deliverables throughout the entire contract lifecycle.
• Lead engagement activities with customer agencies.
• Oversee onboarding projects for customer agencies.
• Ensure implementation oversight and facilitate a smooth transition into operational service.
• Manage the Project Bench resource pool to provide adaptable capacity for DIR-requested projects.
• Coordinate project activities across various service towers and stakeholders.
• Oversee project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.
• Ensure that formal project deliverables comply with relevant government contract requirements.
• Facilitate project execution within the MSI/multi-vendor environment.
• Act as a direct liaison with DIR and customer agencies regarding project-related issues.
• Assist in solution development, service evolution initiatives, and implementation planning throughout the contract lifecycle.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience, including potential supervisory or leadership roles.
• At least 8 years of program and project management experience with government IT contracts.
• Proven experience managing multiple large-scale IT implementation projects simultaneously.
• Strong background in government IT program and project management.
• Experience with managing formal project deliverables and compliance within government IT contracts.
• Familiarity with working in a multi-vendor/MSI environment.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management processes.
• Experience with ServiceNow project management tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interface directly with DIR, government stakeholders, and customer agencies.
• Strong organizational, leadership, project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Capability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex, enterprise-scale IT environment.
• PMP certification required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred.
• Preferred experience engaging with Texas state government agencies.
• Experience supporting Texas state agencies or similar state government entities is preferred.
• Familiarity with government customer onboarding and implementation programs is preferred.
• Experience with governance in solution design and formal Request for Solution (RFS) processes is preferred.
• Background in managing service evolution and technology modernization initiatives is preferred.
• Extensive experience managing large-scale, multi-tower IT programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow project and portfolio management capabilities is preferred.
• Experience working in complex MSI/multi-vendor government IT environments is preferred.
• Experience managing flexible project resources or project bench capacity is preferred.
• Employees may qualify for overtime pay.
