PMIS Implementation Consultant – Federal Sector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive implementation of PMIS solutions for clients in the federal sector.

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to collect requirements, comprehend workflows, and delineate project scope.

• Configure PMIS platforms to align seamlessly with client processes and requirements, while integrating with pre-existing systems.

• Manage and uphold the eBuilder environment, which includes project setup, user provisioning, role/permissions administration, and system configuration modifications.

• Design, configure, and maintain templates, dashboards, reports, mail merges, document workflows, and various other eBuilder artifacts.

• Coordinate with project teams, including Task Leads, Document Control, and Procurement, to gather requirements, convert them into system configurations, and prioritize enhancements.

• Provide system support and troubleshooting assistance for users and clients after implementation.

• Create training materials and conduct training, refresher, and onboarding sessions.

• Review product release notes and enhancements, evaluate impacts on configurations, and implement necessary updates or changes.

• Manage report and folder subscriptions, user dashboards, and automated notifications.

• Monitor project progress, evaluate risks, and communicate implementation milestones to stakeholders and management.

• Keep abreast of PMIS technology trends and best practices, offering recommendations to clients.

• Work in collaboration with IT, project controls, and client management teams to ensure effective PMIS integration and utilization.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of Procon’s PMIS services and offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in the implementation of project management information systems (PMIS), ideally with tools such as eBuilder, Unifier, Kahua, or comparable platforms.

• Strong grasp of project management methodologies and practices.

• Technical expertise in configuring and customizing PMIS solutions to satisfy client requirements.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the foresight to anticipate and mitigate potential issues during the implementation phase.

• Experience in conducting training sessions and facilitating user adoption of new systems.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
