Plumbing Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design plumbing, drainage, and fire-fighting systems for high-end villas and boutique hotels, ensuring adherence to local building regulations and industry benchmarks.

• Work in close partnership with architects, interior designers, and fellow engineers to integrate systems flawlessly into the overall project framework.

• Engage in spatial coordination with the architectural and structural models to ensure design intent is met and to enhance the premium user experience.

• Lead the creation of detailed drawings, technical documentation, and system specifications using Revit and AutoCAD, with assistance from BIM modelers.

• Conduct load calculations and system sizing to maximize performance efficiency.

• Oversee equipment selection to ensure it aligns with project specifications and sustainability objectives.

• Contribute to value engineering discussions to harmonize cost, quality, and performance.

• Supervise the design development process and review outputs from external designers, consultants, and surveyors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Building Engineering with a focus on plumbing, drainage, pool, and storm drainage systems.

• 5 to 10 years of experience in design consultancy or with a general contracting firm.

• Proven experience on low-rise residential and hospitality projects, including private residences, villas, hotels, and resorts.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.

• Professional command of English, both written and spoken.

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

• Experience with tropical or Caribbean hospitality projects is advantageous.
