PLM Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Act as the technical leader for Aras Innovator implementations.

• Take ownership of the complete solution architecture and technical execution.

• Guide teams through the phases of planning, design, development, testing, and transition.

• Ensure that the scope, quality, and delivery expectations are met.

• Serve as a reliable technical advisor to customer stakeholders.

• Conduct workshops to clarify requirements and guide solution direction.

• Align stakeholders and handle complex consulting scenarios effectively.

• Define solution architectures leveraging standard Aras functionalities.

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Lead the development of requirements, use cases, and specifications.

• Contribute to proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).

• Enhance Professional Services delivery methodologies.

• Assign and oversee technical tasks across delivery teams.

• Review deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.

• Mentor consultants and junior architects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong consulting skills with a client-facing approach.

• Experience in enterprise PLM implementations.

• Leadership experience in Agile/Scrum delivery.

• Excellent documentation skills, including requirements, SOWs, and specifications.

• Technical proficiency in SQL Server, C#/.NET, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.

• Experience in data migration.

• Strong planning, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent work experience).

• Over 5 years of experience in PLM delivery.

• Proven leadership in Aras Innovator implementations.

• Familiarity with Jira and Azure DevOps.

• Industry experience in Automotive, High Tech, Aerospace, etc.

• Understanding of engineering change, quality, and manufacturing processes.

• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
