📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions focused on application architectures, testing methodologies, delivery pipelines, security needs, and business goals.

• Create and present product demonstrations that emphasize Playwright and contemporary test automation practices.

• Develop and oversee technical proofs of concept that showcase quantifiable customer benefits.

• Convert customer specifications into scalable solution architectures utilizing Sauce Labs features and third-party technologies.

• Address technical inquiries, competitive factors, security issues, and integration needs throughout the sales process.

• Collaborate with account executives on solution strategies, success metrics, and technical value messaging.

• Present findings to developers, QA leaders, security teams, and procurement stakeholders.

• Record customer specifications, technical risks, solution designs, and outcomes from proofs of concept.

• Design, implement, and enhance Playwright automation frameworks.

• Integrate automated testing with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and CircleCI.

• Create reusable fixtures, page objects, utilities, reporting integrations, and framework standards.

• Configure parallel execution, cross-browser support, retries, tracing, screenshots, video, and failure diagnostics.

• Troubleshoot flaky tests, environmental challenges, performance issues, and dependencies on test data.

• Provide guidance on implementation, conduct workshops, and deliver technical training.

• Contribute to testing governance, coding standards, and quality metrics.

• Develop reusable technical assets, including sample applications, migration playbooks, and best-practice documentation.

• Assist in post-implementation reviews and suggest enhancements based on usage and quality data.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software development, test automation, quality engineering, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting.

• Strong practical experience with Playwright, encompassing its test runner, fixtures, projects, tracing, reporters, parallel execution, and debugging tools.

• Advanced expertise in TypeScript or JavaScript.

• Comprehensive understanding of HTML, CSS, the DOM, HTTP, REST APIs, browser behavior, cookies, sessions, and authentication.

• Experience in designing maintainable end-to-end, integration, API, and component-testing solutions.

• Ability to produce clean, modular, well-documented, production-quality code.

• Experience in integrating test automation within CI/CD pipelines.

• Working knowledge of Git, package management, build tools, containers, and typical developer workflows.

• Experience in troubleshooting distributed systems, networks, proxies, certificates, identity providers, and restricted enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of test strategy, test design, quality risk analysis, and the automation pyramid.

• Experience in managing test data, including data creation, seeding, masking, isolation, cleanup, and environment-specific configuration.

• Ability to analyze test results and communicate trends related to reliability, flakiness, execution time, coverage, and release risk.

• Excellent presentation, facilitation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capability to handle multiple customer engagements and work efficiently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in designing deterministic and repeatable test-data strategies.

• Understanding of relational databases, SQL, APIs, and structured data formats like JSON.

• Ability to create or validate test data using database queries, APIs, scripts, or service virtualization.

• Familiarity with synthetic data generation, data masking, data retention, and controls for personally identifiable information.

• Understanding of test environment isolation and techniques to prevent data collisions during parallel execution.

• Ability to connect testing telemetry with reporting, observability, or analytics platforms.

• Awareness of data privacy and security standards, including GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and enterprise data handling practices.
