This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Lead and mentor the ServiceNow platform team, offering guidance on development best practices, technical coaching, conducting code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding and architectural standards.
• Act as a hands-on servant leader, allocating approximately 50% of your time to direct development efforts.
• Oversee the complete development lifecycle, engaging in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, customization, testing, documentation, and deployment utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Design scalable ServiceNow solutions and convert business, functional, and technical requirements into comprehensive designs, architecture documentation, and platform roadmaps.
• Create and enhance workflows, service requests, business rules, UI policies, automations, and integrations through Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and scripting.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems such as Workday, ADP, ERP, HRIS, and other third-party tools using REST/SOAP, MID Server, and JDBC.
• Direct platform upgrades, patches, module rollouts, and custom application development across ITSM, CSM, and additional modules.
• Maintain a multi-tenant, domain-separated ServiceNow environment, ensuring proper data segregation, delegated administration, and tenant-level configuration.
• Guarantee 24x7 platform availability, performance, security, compliance, and governance through active monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Lead proactive monitoring and incident response for issues affecting production while adhering to service-level agreements.
• Ensure data quality across integrations, which includes data loads, transformations, and maintenance of connected systems.
• Support governance and change processes, which encompass demos, Change Control Board presentations, and release planning.
• Provide advice to stakeholders regarding ServiceNow capabilities, limitations, and optimal usage.
• Collaborate with service and process owners, solution architects, and delivery managers.
• Generate technical documentation, requirements definitions, and specifications; offer training to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on ServiceNow releases and suggest enhancements to the platform.
• Over 7 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to ServiceNow development and architecture.
• Profound expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, and Domain Separation, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Custom Application Development, UI Builder, and Now Assist.
• Strong command of JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Service Portal, and platform scripting.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems utilizing REST/SOAP, MID Server, JDBC, and modern API frameworks.
• Solid understanding of Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge, and Release Management.
• Experience in platform performance optimization, CMDB/data modeling, Discovery/Service Mapping, and instance governance.
• Background in supporting a multi-tenant, domain-separated platform in a managed-services or enterprise setting.
• Deep understanding of upgrade strategies, security models, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and custom application development.
• Knowledge of MID Server, LDAP, SSO, OAuth, and web services integration.
• Experience in applying AI or automation to workflows, insights, or decision-making processes.
• Proficient in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
• Willingness to support a 24x7 platform, including on-call/pager rotation during nights and weekends, along with extended support hours.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is mandatory.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is also required.
