Platform Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Create shared Azure foundational services encompassing identity, networking, observability, security, and reusable platform functionalities.

• Develop platform blueprints, standards, and guidelines to facilitate consistent delivery.

• Address cross-component design choices and offer architectural validation.

• Ensure that implementations are in line with enterprise architecture and security protocols.

• Collaborate with business subject matter experts, security teams, data specialists, engineering, and operations stakeholders.

• Assess solution alternatives and document key architectural choices.

• Validate detailed designs to ensure the Foundation Platform is scalable, maintainable, compliant, and aligned with the target architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing Azure platform foundations and shared services.

• Proficient in identity, networking, observability, and security architecture.

• Proven experience in generating architecture blueprints, standards, and guidelines.

• Capable of making and documenting cross-domain design decisions.

• Experience collaborating with enterprise architecture, security, engineering, and operations teams.

• Strong comprehension of scalable, maintainable, and compliant platform design.

• A collaborative mindset with a strong commercial awareness.

• Ability to ensure that solutions are appropriate, secure, and in line with strategic architectural objectives.
