Platform Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Set up and maintain the uMed platform for new studies, product features, and operational processes.

• Adjust platform settings, workflows, communications, templates, questionnaires, reference data, and other configurable elements.

• Evaluate configuration requests and pinpoint issues prior to implementation.

• Create reusable configuration templates.

• Convert product requirements into operational platform settings in collaboration with Product Managers.

• Oversee setup activities for studies, enhancements, and releases.

• Confirm configurations and assist in ensuring release readiness.

• Investigate production-related issues associated with platform configurations.

• Enhance, simplify, standardize, and automate operational workflows.

• Produce checklists, templates, runbooks, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, and Operations teams.

• Update on configuration progress, challenges, and risks.

• Assist with audits and adhere to production change-management protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in healthcare, health technology, or other regulated sectors.

• Proven experience in configuring or administering SaaS or enterprise software platforms.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to operational tasks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to investigate operational challenges.

• Proficiency in translating business needs into precise platform configurations.

• Experience with configuration-driven software platforms.

• Excellent documentation skills, encompassing runbooks, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

• Experience in Agile software development environments.

• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is preferred.
