This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee the design and enhancement of automation solutions utilizing PowerShell, Ansible, Python, or comparable technologies.
• Establish and uphold enterprise standards for Linux and Windows operating systems, virtual machine templates, baseline configurations, lifecycle management, and patch preparedness.
• Develop scalable architectural patterns for platforms used in production, disaster recovery, and lab settings.
• Offer technical leadership for monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, LogicMonitor, and PagerDuty.
• Enhance monitoring coverage, alert quality, escalation processes, and operational responses.
• Collaborate with services, security, application, and operations teams to specify platform requirements and document reference architectures.
• Guide implementation choices and assist in managing changes.
• Provide support for SQL Server, Oracle, and other enterprise database infrastructures in both production and disaster recovery environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, architecture diagrams, build standards, and operational procedures.
• Advocate for security, compliance, resilience, and cost-effective engineering throughout the platform lifecycle.
• Assess new technologies, including sanctioned AI tools, to enhance platform quality and operational decisions.
• Significant experience in designing, engineering, or supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms within intricate production environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Server, encompassing build standards, configuration management, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Expertise in PowerShell, Ansible, Python, or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms, ideally Zabbix, LogicMonitor, or PagerDuty.
• Experience in supporting SQL Server, Oracle, or other enterprise database platforms in production and disaster recovery scenarios.
• Capability to create technical documentation, architecture standards, runbooks, implementation guides, and operational procedures.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, influence technical paths, and convey complex concepts effectively.
• Experience with virtual machine templates and standardized server deployment patterns in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
• Background in hybrid infrastructure, virtualization platforms, cloud services, or self-service infrastructure catalogs.
• Knowledge of capacity planning, performance optimization, backup and recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Proven ability to assess and responsibly integrate new technologies, including approved AI tools.
• A Bachelor's degree or a minimum of seven years of equivalent experience in systems architecture, infrastructure architecture, or senior infrastructure administration.
