Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance Tempo’s infrastructure framework

• Ensure the engineering team operates efficiently and effectively

• Implement and oversee infrastructure that supports swift and efficient engineering delivery

• Actively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the DevOps workflow to boost developer productivity

• Maintain the reliability of the Tempo chain, validator infrastructure, explorer reliability, and associated systems

• Enhance the core developer experience at Tempo

• Assist in onboarding large enterprises into the crypto space

• Educate enterprises on operating validators

• Work at the forefront of crypto performance

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in maintaining and scaling bare metal servers and cloud environments for production systems

• Proficient in developing tools and scripts using Rust, Go, or Python

• Extensive knowledge in deploying Kubernetes in production settings

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD

• Expertise in deploying monitoring, alerting, and observability systems such as Prometheus and Grafana

• Experience in securing and hardening monitoring, alerting, and observability systems

• Ability to troubleshoot issues collaboratively with engineers

• Strong understanding of Linux and networking

• Experience in troubleshooting on Linux systems
