Platform and Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and manage the internal technology ecosystem that supports Zyte’s global operations.

• Oversee and integrate essential SaaS solutions such as Salesforce, HubSpot, customer support, billing, collaboration, and engineering tools.

• Create dependable workflows and ensure data synchronization across various SaaS platforms.

• Develop automation scripts and build scripts, services, integrations, CLI tools, event-driven pipelines, bots, and ChatOps integrations.

• Execute API-based integrations for CRM, customer management, billing, product usage, entitlement, support, product workflows, and CRM functions.

• Create internal tools for IT, operations, onboarding, access management, data synchronization, dashboards, and collaboration platforms.

• Discover and implement AI-assisted and AI-driven workflows, which include internal support assistants, knowledge retrieval, ticket triage, copilots, and operational data analysis.

• Design automated processes for employee onboarding, offboarding, identity and access provisioning, self-service IT workflows, and internal APIs.

• Deliver top-tier IT support to a globally distributed remote workforce, utilizing root-cause analysis and a person-first service approach.

• Ensure endpoint security, password management, access audits, Zero Trust practices, and compliance with ISO frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering.

• 3+ years in a senior position managing internal business systems and automation within a SaaS or tech company.

• Proficient in scripting and programming with Python, Go, Bash, and Node.js.

• Extensive experience managing GCP and AWS environments, including VPCs, IAM roles, EC2, and S3.

• Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth authentication flows, webhook-based event systems, SaaS SDKs, and integration frameworks.

• In-depth understanding of macOS and Linux environments.

• Experience in implementing and managing SSO, SAML, SCIM provisioning, identity lifecycle automation, and Zero Trust access models.

• Proven track record supporting or passing ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR security and compliance audits.

• Experience in remote-first or globally distributed environments is highly preferred.

• Preferred: Experience with AI-assisted automation involving LLM APIs, AI copilots, semantic search, knowledge retrieval, and automated AI support or ticket triage.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Preferred: Experience applying SLIs/SLOs to internal IT services.
