• Oversee production patch management.
• Utilize scripting, TypeScript, CI/CD, and AI-assisted engineering to deploy applications effectively.
• Consistently enhance automation that supports the software catalog.
• Create and uphold software solutions across a diverse technology stack.
• Ensure that products are functional, efficient, reliable, and scalable.
• Diagnose and enhance existing software packages, addressing architecture-specific issues, per-user installation behaviors, detection mismatches, and failed patches.
• Reverse-engineer third-party installers to analyze installation, update, removal, detection, and architecture behaviors.
• Evaluate software packaging feasibility and decide when applications should be rejected or limited to inventory-only support.
• Maintain playbooks and knowledge bases for reproducible support.
• A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in endpoint management, software packaging, patch management, or MDM solutions like Intune, SCCM/ConfigMgr, Jamf, Munki, Chocolatey, winget, Homebrew, or similar tools.
• Extensive experience in Windows software packaging, including MSI, EXE, and MSIX installers, silent installation switches, Add/Remove Programs registry keys, distinctions between per-user and per-machine installations, SYSTEM execution, and x64/arm64 architectures.

• Competence in reverse-engineering poorly documented third-party installers to determine installation, update, removal, detection, and architecture behaviors.
• Ability to evaluate software packaging feasibility and identify applications that should be rejected or limited to inventory-only support due to authentication, paywall, bot protection, or distribution limitations.
• Experience in troubleshooting and enhancing existing software packages, addressing architecture-specific issues, per-user installation behaviors, detection mismatches, and failed patches.
• Strong automation mindset, capable of transforming recurring manual tasks and escalations into enhancements for tooling, resolvers, validation, and CI/CD pipelines.
