This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Denmark, +2 more countries.
• Lead and enhance the pilot recruitment function in close partnership with all SAS Air Operator Certificates (AOCs).
• Manage a team of Talent Acquisition professionals.
• Supervise the complete pilot recruitment process from start to finish.
• Foster operational excellence, continuous improvement, and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Collaborate with business leaders, Pilot Assessors, Planning, Training, and other teams to attract, evaluate, and hire pilots.
• Develop and implement the pilot recruitment strategy across SAS.
• Adjust priorities and resources according to operational and business needs.
• Lead pilot recruitment operational projects, steering committees, and key stakeholder forums.
• Ensure adherence to relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Enhance recruitment processes, systems, and technology platforms, including ATS solutions, reporting, and analytics.
• Set and track KPIs, including conversion rates, candidate experience, and diversity metrics.
• Evaluate recruitment data and market trends to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
• Mentor, develop, and support the Talent Acquisition team.
• Provide guidance to business leaders and stakeholders on pilot recruitment, talent availability, and recruitment strategies.
• Define and implement sourcing, marketing, and talent attraction strategies.
• Enhance the SAS employer brand and create a sustainable pipeline of qualified pilot candidates.
• Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion while integrating SAS iCARE values into the recruitment process.
• Higher education qualifications.
• Proven experience in leading and developing Talent Acquisition teams.
• Strong background in managing end-to-end recruitment processes in a complex business environment.
• Experience in developing sourcing strategies and building talent pipelines on an international scale.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, preferably SuccessFactors.
• In-depth understanding of talent acquisition best practices, recruitment marketing, and employer branding.
• Experience with recruitment metrics and initiatives driven by data analysis.
• Ability to cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders and business leaders.
• Experience in supporting recruitment within operational, regulated, or international contexts is advantageous.
• Certification in Aon assessment tools is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Extensive expertise in Talent Acquisition and talent attraction.
• Strong project management abilities.
• Excellent collaboration and influencing skills.
• Demonstrated leadership capability.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment technology and talent acquisition systems.
• Experience in recruitment analytics, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Comprehensive knowledge of recruitment methods, selection processes, assessments, and interviewing techniques.
• Ability to identify current and future competency needs and translate them into recruitment strategies.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
