Pilot Scheduler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and convey adjustments to schedules

• Arrange and oversee travel logistics

• Review daily schedules to ensure adherence to company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations

• Optimize pilot utilization and monitor attendance on a daily basis

• Clearly and promptly inform crew members of schedule updates and alterations

• Organize ground transportation, non-scheduled flights, and lodging for pilots and crew

• Evaluate staffing levels and limitations to verify pilot availability for charter requests or schedule modifications

• Ensure compliance with crew duty, flight, and rest periods according to relevant CFRs and Aero's internal standards

• Assist in the monthly schedule creation and oversee eligibility for the monthly bidding list

• Execute additional responsibilities as directed by management

• Report to the Crew Scheduling and Records Supervisor as part of the Flight Operations Team

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without the need for sponsorship

• Required knowledge of FAR Part 135 and/or Part 121 operations

• Prior experience in FAR Part 135 and/or Part 121 scheduling or operations

• Strong communication skills, encompassing speaking, reading, writing, and active listening with both internal and external stakeholders

• Capability to maintain a flexible schedule, including being on call during nights and weekends as per department requirements

• Proficient in giving and receiving feedback through various means

• Exceptional time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
