This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the comprehensive project management of VA healthcare pilot programs and innovation initiatives, encompassing scope definition, planning, milestone tracking, risk management, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Create, sustain, and present performance reports and program dashboards for review by Senior Executive Service members.
• Assist in preparing Congressional reporting materials, briefing documents, and responses to data inquiries.
• Lead cross-functional working groups and manage coordination meetings at pilot sites.
• Document action items, decisions, and risks while ensuring stakeholder accountability.
• Track and assess pilot program performance metrics against established success criteria.
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for adjustments or recommendations for scaling up initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including charters, schedules, risk registers, lessons-learned logs, and after-action reports.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to federal contracting and VA standards.
• At least 4 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience in managing healthcare pilot programs, innovation projects, or similarly complex multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Public Health, Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field is mandatory.
• Previous experience supporting federal agency clients, VA program offices, or in federal healthcare environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the organizational structure and mission of the VA is highly desirable.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential.
• Must successfully pass a VA background investigation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
• Proven experience in developing performance reports, briefing materials, or data packages for senior government leaders (SES-level or equivalent) and/or Congressional stakeholders.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience with VA or federal health innovation offices is a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with GPRAMA, OMB reporting requirements, or VA MISSION Act implementation.
• Proficiency in using VA-approved collaboration and project tracking tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, Teams, or equivalent federally-compliant platforms.
• Previous experience coordinating Congressional data calls, GAO engagements, or IG responses in a federal healthcare contracting context.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential.
