Physician – Virtual Urgent Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional patient care in a virtual environment.

• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team as necessary when managing complex patient cases.

• Conduct follow-ups on laboratory results, imaging, and ensure effective communication loops with patients and other healthcare providers as required.

• Utilize tools for virtual "exams," including remote home monitoring devices, remote physical assessments, and point-of-care diagnostics.

• Engage in a collaborative care framework with registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care physicians, behavioral health professionals, and clinical supervisors where relevant.

• Attend mandatory meetings such as huddles, case discussions, and regular service line All Hands sessions.

• Provide constructive feedback to enhance operational workflows and product features.

• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the Medical Director of Virtual Urgent Care.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD/DO from an accredited medical program.

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient urgent care or emergency department settings.

• At least 2 years of experience providing virtual care or telemedicine services.

• Active medical licenses in Tennessee and Florida, with an IMLC certification.

• Openness to obtaining licenses in additional states with support from our licensing vendor.

• Possession of a compact license from IMLCC or eligibility for one (must hold a full, unrestricted medical license in a member state).

• Fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is considered a valuable asset.

• Must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.
