Physician – Virtual Health Assessment, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide high-quality care to patients utilizing Oscar's platforms through phone and video consultations.

• Act as a supervising physician for Advanced Practice Providers.

• Offer direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants in accordance with state regulations.

• Deliver medical services virtually via phone, video, and messaging, in line with Oscar Medical Group's guidelines, practices, and policies.

• Collaborate effectively with Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, and other healthcare providers across various service lines.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine is required.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.

• Must hold a full medical license in TN and FL or Texas (not a telehealth license).

• Active IMLCC certification or eligibility to apply.

• Willingness to obtain licenses in additional states with support provided.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine setting.

• Familiarity with value-based care documentation standards is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in Telemedicine (preferred).

• Fluency in Spanish (preferred).

• Experience in regulatory supervision of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) (preferred).
