Physician – Telehealth, South Carolina License

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver direct patient care through telehealth services.

• Perform both synchronous and asynchronous virtual consultations with patients.

• Assess patient intake forms, medical histories, lab results, and health information.

• Evaluate medical necessity and prescribe treatments when clinically warranted, adhering to state and federal regulations.

• Provide continuous clinical supervision, follow-up care, and treatment modifications.

• Precisely document patient encounters, clinical decisions, and prescriptions in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Work collaboratively with care coordinators and internal teams to enhance patient adherence and outcomes.

• Ensure compliance with telehealth, prescribing, and documentation standards.

• Act as an engaged clinical member of LumiMeds’ Professional Corporation group.

• Utilize independent clinical judgment to promote compliant, ethical, and patient-centered care.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO with a valid, unrestricted U.S. medical license.

• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

• Eligibility to practice telemedicine in states where licensed.

• Active, unrestricted license with prescriptive authority for Nurse Practitioners.

• Board certification (FNP, AGNP, or equivalent) for Nurse Practitioners.

• Compliance with state regulations for telehealth practice for Nurse Practitioners.

• Preference for candidates licensed in multiple U.S. states.

• Prior experience in telehealth is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based approaches to weight management and metabolic health.

• Excellent clinical judgment, documentation abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Comfortable in a collaborative, remote-first working environment.

• Proficient in professional-level English communication.

• Willingness to work during U.S. business hours.
