This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Propel sales growth by advocating for Henry Schein’s laboratory solutions, which encompass instrumentation, reagents, consumables, and point-of-care testing.
• Implement strategic account plans aimed at maximizing revenue, enhancing specialty penetration, and retaining premier customers.
• Secure long-term reagent rental agreements and instrument placements within physician laboratories.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Consultants, Inside Sales Consultants, and Executive Selling Teams to align customer strategies, optimize wallet share, and broaden territory outreach.
• Establish trusted-advisor relationships with physicians, lab directors, administrators, and decision-makers across physician office labs, urgent care centers, large group practices, community health centers, and integrated delivery networks.
• Perform diagnostic workflow analyses to pinpoint opportunities for instrumentation upgrades, vendor consolidation, and reimbursement enhancements.
• Pursue new accounts through data-driven prospecting techniques.
• Maintain an understanding of the CLIA regulatory framework across waived, moderate, and high-complexity testing environments.
• Track competitive activities and market transitions to inform strategy and uncover white-space opportunities.
• Act as a subject-matter expert in laboratory diagnostics for internal teams by delivering product knowledge.
• Typically 7 or more years of progressively responsible and complex applicable professional experience.
• Laboratory or medical equipment sales experience is preferred; Med Tech experience will also be taken into account.
• Typically possesses a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in a related field (preferred education).
• A Master's degree or global equivalent is preferred.
• May hold two or more industry certifications.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed revenue and unit goals.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience selling to physician office labs, urgent care centers, large group practices, and IDNs is preferred.
• Prior experience working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to achieve multi-channel growth is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in surpassing quotas and driving territory growth in competitive markets.
• Proven ability to close sales of transactional consumables and longer-cycle moderate complexity placements.
• Familiarity with reagent rental models, CLIA compliance, and reimbursement structures.
• Strong skills in prospecting and territory management.
• Significant travel within the assigned territory; a minimum of 50% travel is common.
• Capability to work in a home office setting using standard office equipment.
