Physician Assistant – Virtual Health Assessment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver exceptional care to patients in a virtual environment.

• Utilize prescriptive authority as per a collaborative practice agreement, working closely with Physicians to provide comprehensive care, particularly for complex cases.

• Conduct follow-ups on lab results, imaging, and ensure effective communication with patients and other healthcare providers.

• Employ remote home monitoring devices, conduct remote physical examinations, and utilize point-of-care diagnostic tools for virtual assessments.

• Engage in a collaborative care model alongside registered nurses, medical assistants, primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisors when necessary.

• Participate in huddles, case conferencing, regular service line All Hands meetings, and any other required gatherings.

• Offer insights to enhance operational workflows and product functionalities.

• Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP), or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited institution.

• Board Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC) required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.

• At least 2 years of experience providing virtual care.

• Licensed in at least 2 core Oscar States.

• Florida License is mandatory.

• A Compact RN license is considered a bonus qualification for APRNs.

• Experience with remote diagnostic and home monitoring tools is an additional bonus qualification.

• Must be willing and able to acquire additional licensure in Oscar Medical Group states.
