📋 Description

• Design complex multi-step terminal-based tasks that reflect realistic physical-science workflows.

• Create self-contained computational environments that feature pinned dependencies and scientific software.

• Generate input datasets, molecular structures, simulation parameters, experimental data, and model configurations.

• Implement expert reference solutions utilizing Python, Bash, C/C++, Julia, or other domain-specific tools.

• Develop automated tests to ensure numerical accuracy, physical consistency, convergence, and the structure of outputs.

• Create tasks that encompass simulations, numerical modeling, data fitting, optimization, spectroscopy, molecular analysis, and scientific visualization.

• Establish suitable numerical tolerances, units, boundary conditions, and anticipated scientific behaviors.

• Ensure tasks are reproducible and can execute successfully without requiring runtime downloads.

• Troubleshoot issues related to dependencies, numerical precision, solver stability, performance, and file formats.

• Document scientific assumptions, expected behaviors, and computational limitations for the review process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Ph.D., postdoctoral experience, or equivalent advanced technical experience in physics, chemistry, materials science, astronomy, computational science, or a related discipline.

• Proficient programming skills in Python, C/C++, Julia, Bash, or another scientific programming language.

• Experience working within Linux or terminal-based environments.

• Practical experience with numerical methods, scientific modeling, simulations, or quantitative data analysis.

• Capability to independently create and validate reproducible computational scientific workflows.

• Solid understanding of units, numerical precision, physical constraints, and the principles of scientific reproducibility.

• Experience in developing, debugging, or validating scientific computational models or workflows.
