This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• Examine changes in federal and state tax laws and convert them into software specifications.
• Collaborate with developers to guarantee that tax calculations are precise, compliant, and user-friendly.
• Verify tax return calculations and functionality through rigorous testing and quality assurance.
• Develop technical documentation that supports software design, compliance, and client comprehension.
• Engage in strategic initiatives to improve tax software solutions and enhance the customer experience.
• Offer subject matter expertise to internal teams and end-users.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in corporate or pass-through tax compliance, tax technology, and Corptax.
• CPA certification, a Master's degree, or experience in the tax software industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI-driven tools, including generative AI, AI-enabled tax research platforms, and data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication abilities.
• A keen interest in utilizing technology to address complex tax issues.
• Willingness to support critical filing season deadlines and business priorities.
