PHP Software Engineer, Hungarian Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop well-structured technical specifications and documentation informed by business needs in an AI-assisted setting.

• Produce testable, secure, and efficient PHP code.

• Collaborate with and mentor fellow engineers through code evaluations, quality assessments, architectural discussions, and technical outlines.

• Create software that is straightforward to maintain and upgrade.

• Troubleshoot code and production issues to enhance system stability and uptime.

• Modernize legacy systems into enterprise-grade software by adhering to standards and best practices.

• Consistently enhance the AI-assisted environment to boost productivity.

• Join an agile team and familiarize yourself with the company's engineering manifesto, coding standards, and style guides.

• Engage in the software development lifecycle, user-story exploration, and code evaluations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient understanding of professional software engineering, including coding under SOLID principles and practicing Clean Code.

• Practical experience with NoSQL technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, or similar.

• Background in leveraging and setting up guardrails for AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance team velocity safely.

• Understanding of cloud-native infrastructure and telemetry/observability practices to promote system reliability and prevent incidents.

• Experience in developing complex systems and applications with high transaction volumes.

• Capability to document requirements and specifications clearly.

• Ability to work collaboratively on projects in a fully remote setting while managing your own workload in a fast-paced agile environment.
