Phlebotomy Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Recruit, place, and oversee In-Office Phlebotomists on a national level.

• Recruit, place, and manage Patient Service Center phlebotomists throughout the expanding site network.

• Assist in the establishment of new Patient Service Centers, which includes identifying sites, staffing, and ensuring launch readiness.

• Build and nurture relationships with phlebotomy vendors and site partners across the nation.

• Take ownership of scheduling for In-Office and Patient Service Center phlebotomists, ensuring adequate coverage and reducing service gaps.

• Oversee the complete onboarding process, including credentialing, training coordination, and compliance documentation.

• Manage the inventory of phlebotomy supplies across various sites.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate the replenishment process.

• Act as the operational point of contact for Sales regarding phlebotomy-related needs for the NIPT product line.

• Provide prompt and accurate responses to sales inquiries concerning phlebotomy coverage and site status.

• Deliver operational support with a patient-first approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in phlebotomy operations, healthcare staffing, or vendor management; preferably in the healthcare/diagnostics industry.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across a distributed national network.

• Strong organizational skills with a comfort in managing scheduling and logistics at scale.

• Clear and proactive communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, contracts, and operations teams.

• Comfort in working with data and operational metrics to assess network performance.

• A 4-year college degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% to assist in setting up and launching new Patient Service Centers.

• Experience with scheduling, staffing, or vendor-management software such as Salesforce or similar CRM/logistics tools is a plus.

• A background in prenatal (NIPT) or oncology diagnostics is a plus.

• Experience in opening or launching new Patient Service Center sites is a plus.

• Project management experience across distributed, multi-site teams is a plus.
