PhD Research Fellow – Computing, Engineering, Applied Mathematics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Assess hybrid search methodologies and semantic retrieval techniques

• Investigate the applications of GraphRAG within corporate settings

• Create a prototype for an experimental semantic MCP

• Establish frameworks for grounding, traceability, and response assessment for intelligent agents

• Engage in an innovation initiative at the Itaú Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation in collaboration with Inova Talentos

⛳️ Requirements

• Doctorate in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline

• Proficiency in LLMs, RAG, GraphRAG, AI agents, MCP, response assessment, grounding, and AI security

• Familiarity with intelligent-agent frameworks, MCP, generative AI evaluation, explainability, and Responsible AI is preferred

• Prior experience with GraphRAG is advantageous

• Willingness to commit to a 40-hour work week
