This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
β’ Develop and enhance data collection tools, such as semi-structured interview guides and surveys.
β’ Conduct and facilitate virtual key informant interviews and group discussions with investigators, trainees, and implementation partners across various global contexts.
β’ Manage qualitative data utilizing qualitative data analysis software, which includes preparing transcripts, creating codebooks, and coding.
β’ Construct and implement codebooks utilizing both deductive and inductive methodologies across different data sources and cohorts.
β’ Utilize implementation science frameworks like RE-AIM, CFIR, and PRISM to structure and interpret research findings.
β’ Design and deliver implementation science training programs for adult learners, incorporating adult learning principles.
β’ Offer mentorship and support to analytic team members.
β’ Assist in coordinating large academic meetings, including drafting agendas, polling questions, and summarizing discussions.
β’ Lead initiatives that involve technical support, health policy or health care delivery model implementation, monitoring, program evaluation, and learning collaboratives.
β’ Provide operational and scientific oversight for research initiatives, taking on roles such as project director, deputy project director, or task lead.
β’ Supervise individual and team assignments and timelines alongside a Project Manager.
β’ Cultivate and sustain relationships with project sponsors, external collaborators, internal managers, and staff.
β’ Engage in proposals for new research and evaluation initiatives.
β’ Contribute to the development of study protocols and analytic methodologies.
β’ Create and execute methodological and applied research leading to peer-reviewed publications, sponsor reports, and various dissemination strategies.
β’ PhD in public health, health behavior, health services research, implementation science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, or another related social science field, or a master's degree with relevant experience (PhD is strongly preferred).
β’ Familiarity with implementation science theories, models, and frameworks.
β’ Proficiency in qualitative analysis software such as Dedoose, NVivo, ATLAS.ti, or MAXQDA.
β’ Proven training and practical experience in qualitative methods, including interviewing, coding, and thematic or content analysis.
β’ Experience in developing training curricula, webinars, or technical assistance materials for professional audiences.
β’ Demonstrated ability to make significant contributions to research projects and secure funding for new initiatives.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
β’ Must be able, willing, and available to travel internationally, including several nights away from home annually.
β’ Must hold a valid and active United States Passport.
β’ Must reside in Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, or Virginia.
β’ Flexibility for remote work.
β’ Limited overnight travel, not exceeding 5%.
