University Partnership Liaison, Co-PI-ready Research Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance pathways for partnerships between universities and community colleges focusing on STEM education and workforce-sponsored initiatives.

• Collaborate with institutional sponsored programs, research development teams, and faculty principal investigators to define roles, scopes, and timelines for proposals.

• Assist in the design of research, evaluation frameworks, and partnership documentation that align with NSF-style and related educational packages.

• Facilitate networking opportunities among K-14, community college, industry, and university stakeholders as needed for project design.

• Provide specialized qualifications and reference previous projects for WIL grant and sponsored research submissions when authorized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in university-sponsored research, research development, or partnerships between academia and industry or K-14 settings, including roles as Co-PI or senior personnel on STEM education or workforce projects.

• Excellent written communication skills for crafting proposals, scopes of work, and correspondence with partners.

• Proficient in navigating sponsored programs processes within institutions of higher education and understanding faculty collaboration norms.

• Open to full-time roles or project-based contract opportunities; primarily remote with travel as required by partnership engagements.

• Previous experience with NSF, ATE, RET, RIEF, IUSE, or similar sponsored projects.

• Knowledge of technician education in community colleges or research communities in engineering education.

• Documented projects that can be referenced (including agency or institution, your role, and year).
