Pharmacy Tech Adjunct Faculty

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.

📋 Description

• Teach courses assigned within the specified program.

• Facilitate weekly live sessions through Zoom for each course.

• Keep a flexible schedule for office hours and individual meetings.

• Offer prompt information and feedback on quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects.

• Engage in outreach efforts to boost interaction with at-risk students.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of student academic and attendance records.

• Submit final grades in accordance with university guidelines.

• Take part in meetings, training sessions, and mandatory professional development activities.

• Stay updated with advancements in the instructional field.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as outlined in the faculty job description, standard operating procedures, and university regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree in a health-related discipline is preferred.

• PTCB Certification is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

• Experience in sterile compounding is advantageous.

• Previous online teaching experience is preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills for both individual and group interactions.

• Capability to function effectively as part of a team.

• Proficient in navigating a virtual environment using various software applications concurrently, including MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, and Zoom.
